The Rokurokubi appears to be an ordinary lady. But at night, while her body sleeps, her neck stretches to an incredible length and roams around freely. Sometimes the rokurokubi attacks small animals, sometimes she licks up lamp oil, and sometimes she simply causes mischief by scaring people.
